Dawn Weber and the Electro Funk Assembly
This band is a unique group which mixes the uses of live instruments with technology. The core of the group is Christian Oncken, our electronic instrumentalist, Mark Youngbauer on a guitar synth and I myself have fun with vocal processors and effects pedals for my trumpet. We play a variety of styles of electronica which include ambient, acid jazz, deep house, jungle. Basically, what that means is we play styles from very beautiful and mellow to groovy and music that is bumping and makes you want to dance and shake your booty. We write our own music and arrange our own versions of covers tunes from artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Prince and so many more artists that make you want to dance.
