A Dawn Weber and Friends Christmas - Album Cover November 2012Dawn and friends spent a little studio time to mix up a CD of classics and originals which will be released on Novermber 21′s at a combined birthday bash and CD party. Time to be there is 8PM. Herbie’s is on Euclid in the Central West End, just north of McPherson.

CD will be available for sale at Herbie’s. Start your Thanksgiving break and celebrate Dawn’s birthday as well as the CD release Wednesday, November 21 from 8 to 11PM at 405 N. Euclid. Herbie’s is easy to find as it is just a few feet west of McPherson in the Central West End!

(TIP: Cheapest and easiest parking is Herbie’s Valet! Otherwise you can park in the same lot further down Euclid on the same side of the street (west) for $1 more!)

Dawn’s friends on this album include guitarists Mark Youngbauer and Farshid Etniko Soltanshahi. Percussion by Scott Rice (+ add. vocals) and R. Scott Bryan. Contributing bassists were Marc Torlina and Donnie Inman, with piano by Phil Gomez and Peter Ruthenburg. Drummers were by Miles Vandiver and Martin Morrison. Matt McKeever is featured on clarinet, trombone by Bryce Payton and and of course Dawn on vocals as well as trumpet, coronet, piccolo trumpet and flugelhorn.

Hi everyone!!! We are sooooo close to Thanksgiving!!! Yay!! I can almost taste the turkey!!! :-) There has been a change to my Bday Bash and Holiday CD Release. It is now going to be on Wednesday the 21st, the night before Thanksgiving at Herbie’s. When I was originally booked on Thanksgiving night Herbie’s did not realize that they were going to be closed. Here’s what’s coming up!

Friday November 17th - Naked Rock Fight will be at Venice Cafe from 9-1!! It should be a fun night and a great way to kick off the weekend!! Venice Cafe is located at 1903 Pestalozzi Street St. Louis, MO 63118

Saturday, November 18th - I will be performing with Teddy Presburg’s group at Chandler Hill Winery from 1-4. And also I will be performing that night at 10pm with the fun salsa band Son Montuno at Coco Louco Brasil. Coco Louco Brasil is located at 512 North Euclid Avenue St. Louis, MO 63108.

Next Wednesday the 21st the night before Thanksgiving will be my official Holiday CD release and my Bday Bash at Herbie’s from 8-11. Hope you can stop by!! Herbie’s is located at 405 North Euclid Avenue St. Louis, MO 63108

New Dawn Weber Music Web Portal

crop small northern california flowerWelcome to Dawn’s new website. Dawn’s old website was a work of Flash art. It was designed by an imaginative web artist named Mark Thomas, who also happens to be an excellent drummer.

We have shifted to a WordPress-based web content management system to make the website available to mobile devices as we enter this “mobile-first” web world. This site is designed to be mobile-responsive making it easier to browse on devices such as Ipads, Iphones, Android and Blackberries.

The technology is not perfect and it is evolving. WordPress makes keeping up with the tech changes while also increasing the ability to share information with site visitors.

Thank you for your patience during this shift to the new site. Expect changes, especially in design. Pages and post content will be updated as necessary to keep Dawn Weber fans in the loop!

We hope this new site is easier to navigate for all the devices out there. There will be an attempt to re-deploy the old website as well, but currently that site is not available.
